Caernarfon 5.5 miles; Llanberis 10 miles.

The quaint Welsh village of Llandwrog is situated between the long sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle, renowned for its family fun and watersports (mainly wind and kite surfing), and Glynllifon Country Park, described as one of Wales' best kept secrets. Llandwrog boasts pretty stone built cottages and The Harp Inn, a family friendly character pub which serves real ale and quality food. Glynllifon Park is a 700 acre country park that was once Lord Newborough's private garden. Today, the whole 700 acres are designated as a Grade 1 listed garden and an S.S.S.I. boasting Victorian follies, streams, fountains, wonderful tree trails, craft shops and a cafe. Nearby is historic Caernarfon, a popular tourist spot with its magnificent 13th Century castle and well preserved town walls. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and a golf course, and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of the Snowdonia National Park.

This delightful property provides spacious accommodation and is decorated and furnished in keeping with its heritage, with the benefit of contemporary fixtures and fittings. The large enclosed rear garden is ideal for relaxing, and enjoying views of the nearby Rhinog Mountains. The nearby Country Park comprises of 700 acres of Grade I listed gardens, a renowned exotic tree trail, various workshops, crafts and a cafe. Within 2 miles is a village inn serving good food, and the large sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle, perfect for family fun and excellent watersports. Caernarfon and Nefyn Golf Courses are also within easy reach. A perfect location for discovering the huge variety of attractions throughout the Snowdonia National Park, Lleyn Peninsula and Isle of Anglesey.
