Previous Visitors' Comments
The personal welcome from the owner was very much appreciated. The cottage was ideally placed for trips to the coast and into the Snowdonia National Park. Our two dogs loved the garden and the local beaches. The weather was superb and we will visit the area again in the future.

The garden at the property offered unexpected "entertainment" in the form of various varieties of birds which came to feed on the bird feeders. We also had visits from a squirrel. The garden also had a resident family of rabbits, and we sighted a deer on the road outside. All of the above added to the enjoyment of the cottage and entertained our 10 year old son.

Enjoyed the holiday and the cottage was excellent. A lovely welcome by the owner. The cottage was situated down a very quiet lane with views over open countryside. An ideal place for us to take the dog.

The property is in an 'away from it all' location but close enough to the main highway to allow easy access along the North Wales coast. It must be good, we have booked it on two futher occasions this year!

Great location (eg. quiet and scenic). Very warm welcome. Excellent and detailed facilities. We were left in peace for the whole week. Nice to find a cottage with a piano. We will be recommending Sykes Cottages to our friends as a general holiday resource, and Oakwood in particular. WELL DONE!

In a really quiet countryside area but only a few minutes from the A55, from which it was easy to travel anywhere along the coast.
